It has no curb appeal and truthfully not sure if there is signage but once you arrive its a wonderful experience. You are greeted by a professionally looking hostess that is friendly welcoming and calls you by your name. She show you to your table and asks you if it is ok. This is the first time that I have sat in the patio area. They very beautifully transformed a front parking area into a tented lovely place to have dinner. You certainly do not feel like you are in a parking lot or so close to Beverly BLvd traffic. The service is elegant and attentive without being bothersome and annoying. Water is refilled, table is brushed off from crumbs and silverware replaced without any disturbance to anyone at the table. The appetizers not to be missed are the Moroccan Cigars, FIg and Beet Salad and the beef carpacio. He allowed us to sample some different wines and when my friend didnt like either, he kindly suggested a sweeter choice and it is "right on the mark" . The courses are served in a relaxed way with just the right amount of time. We shared the Moroccan Cigars long filo dough fried to golden perfection . The beet and fig salad was beautifully presented and a perfect complient to the cigars. We order the rib eye to share and he suggested raw plus which was exactly how we both wanted it. They slice it and it is served with creamy mashed potatoes and brocolini. We each had plenty and there was some to take home. Our waiter suggested the desert and it was perfection. He brought us two shot glasses filled with the drink of the day to toast us Happy Birthday. Personal warm service, beautiful plating, elegant service and most of all incredible food. Our neighbors got some of the sushi as appetizers-maybe next time. These people got all the components right.More infoNext Door$$$$• Mediterranean• Beverly / Fairfax / La Brea / Third St.•4.9
