Best Southwest American Restaurants in Little Elm

Our waitress was so nice! She even offered to take a group picture outside under the sign!! Food and cocktails are always awesome!

i've dined at Mexican Sugar for dinner and for lunch and always enjoy the food, ambience, and service.  the food is fresh and well prepared, the service is attentive, but not overwhelming, and the restaurant  is not so loud that you cannot carry on a conversation but it is also not so quiet that you feel other people are eavesdropping. 

Our experience was very good overall. The service was thorough and attentive, though it did slow down noticeably after our initial order was taken. We found ourselves waiting longer than expected between requests, check-ins, and receiving the bill. That said, the food more than made up for it. The portions were generous, the quality was excellent, and we had plenty left over for the next day. We especially appreciated the care the staff took in boxing up our leftovers, even though it understandably added a little extra time to the experience. The enclosed patio is fantastic and remains one of our favorite places to dine. This is easily our favorite Tex-Mex, Mexican, and New Mexican restaurant in the DFW area. And one more thing: they have the best chips and salsa in town. Seriously!
