Best Modern European Restaurants in Whitstable

Have eaten at the restaurant many times over the years and have never been disappointed. The current menu options epitomise the ethos of the restaurant and I’d highly recommend it. Personally I love taking people as a birthday treat which literally allows one to share in the experience and I’ll definitely be back for more.

Last night we ate a superb meal at The Bridge Arms. From the sweetest buttery scallops to the tenderist melt in the mouth ribs for starters, to the steak and hake mains to the most perfect desserts. Delicious wine to accompany. Perfect friendly, attentive service. All in all 10/10.

I don’t know how I had not heard about this great restaurant before. A friend took me there, we liked it so much we went back a couple of days later. The service was very good, all the staff were very accommodating and helpful, the food was excellent and the vibe was great. The prices are very reasonable and I hope this continues as they will get a lot more of visits from myself m.

We stayed at the Abode Canterbury for two nights & had dinner here on the first night. The waitress was very helpful & explained the food options. We chose the tapas & had three tapas each with bread to share. All the food was excellent & plentiful

As always, they exceeded every expectation. The staff is incredibly attentive and professional without being overbearing, striking that perfect balance of high-end service and genuine hospitality. The menu feels like a curated journey of flavours, where every ingredient has a purpose. It truly is the premier spot in Deal for a special occasion or whenever you want to treat yourself to something extraordinary. A real gem !
