Best Northwest American Restaurants in Renfrew / Collingwood

We brought visitors from California and they loved the ambiance, the view on the patio and the delicious food. We also loved Laurie, our server. He did an exceptional job. We felt very welcome and well taken care of. Thanks so much, we will be back!

The true oasis of fine food, wine 🍷, and the lake is free. Parking is there. Quite so perfect for business lunches. The old style Tudor castle is your host while the service is impeccable.

Outside table for lunch...very relaxed as not too busy so we were able to dawdle. Server was excellent. We were a group of 5 "old" people who wanted chat and the servers patience was commendable. Food was well prepared and nicely served. Fish and Chips ...cod was perfectly done. A ton of chips ( too many for one) Calamari for the table was nice size and well spiced. Chowder was given thumbs up as being hearty and filling. Cheeseburger was rated very good. 2 salads ( 1 with chicken and 1 with salmon ) were beautifully presented and well received. Cappuccino was very good. Only complaint was noise level. A problem everywhere for old folks..sound reverberating off of all the glass surrounds...fortunately the restaurant was quiet enough on a weekday that our table wasn't needed so we were able to linger as other diners left and the noise level dropped accordingly. Pier 7 has become a go-to for meeting friends on the north shore and always delivers. Aside form good food they consistently have servers who take the time to deal with the vagaries of the aged which is deeply appreciated and keeps us coming back. (above includes moving table so we're out of the breeze, turning down music speakers, splitting orders plus just general over all niceness!)

Lift was excellent overall. The food was great, service on point and the atmosphere can't be beat with breathtaking views of the harbour. Highly recommend.

My first time in this restaurant. We had a great experience. The food was cooked perfectly, the prime rib dish we had was so tender and tasty. We had the April dinner package and surprisingly generous portions. Service was great, attentive hosts and server.
