Alamo Prime Steakhouse is built for the second visit. The first time you're a guest. The second time you're family. The beef is Prime, bought from Texas ranches a few hours from the table. Steaks are hand cut and cooked over fire. Chops and seasonal plates sit beside them. The raw bar runs until close, with Gulf oysters opened to order, chilled shellfish, and the classics. Sides come family size and meant to be passed. The bar gets the same attention, from the shaken and the stirred to the ones with no spirit in them at all. Craft beer, classic cocktails, a deep spirits shelf, and a wine list built to hold up to both beef and oysters.Booths deep enough to disappear into, light warm enough to linger in, tables that hold a whole family and seats for one. Bring the anniversary. Bring the Tuesday. Bring the kids, bring the client, or come sit at the bar on your own.Grandscape in The Colony, minutes from Frisco, Plano, and Lewisville. The table is always full.
