Best Pan-asian Restaurants in Brooklyn Heights

Food fine as always, but how do you serve all the adults first and then take an extra 15 minutes to bring a simple serving of pad thai to THE TODDLER in the party?!?

Pros: The happy hour deal is amazing. $25 for self serve rose on tap and kitchen snacks that were pretty substantial. They served edamame, chips and fried seaweed. It was pretty empty and quiet, I'm not sure if many people know about the place yet. The waitress was really informative and attentive. Con: The downfall was our reservation was for 6pm (happy hour deal is 6pm-7:30pm). We got there on time and were told they were waiting for things to be setup downstairs. They didn't seat us until 6:25 and then cut us off right at 7:30 so that was pretty disappointing. Other than that, it's still a great deal they should just either change to 1 hour or move to 6:30 instead of right when they open.

Upon entering People Kitchen we were delighted. The ambiance was romantic, the decor was rustic, the food was DELICIOUS, the staff was friendly and attentive. The overall experience was one of the best we have ever have. I could go on all day about how delicious the dinner was. We enjoyed a cocktail creation that had us contemplating cancelling our evening plans and staying put all night. I have spread the word to everyone I know that this restaurant is a keeper, from drinks to apps to dinner. We will be back often!
