    I'm not a huge fan of Italian restaurants because they are all pretty similar, but I had a fantastic meal at Marcello's with my wife and daughter on Mother's Day. The service was good and the food was excellent. I had the short rib pasta w/ a mushroom sauce, which was so good that I mopped the plate clean with the free bread that they provided, an undeniable sign of satisfaction. My wife had the fennel salad and arancini, which were also both excellent. I don't even like fennel, but this salad was very fresh and delicious. The arancini was cooked perfectly and the sauce it came with was also outstanding. That dish was also wiped clean with bread. Our server was very attentive and I like that they have outdoor seating. This is a great place to grab lunch or dinner outside on a nice day if you are in the area, I highly recommend it!

    The Parlor has been a go-to casual but local spot for us in the Rivertowns for many years. Things do change, which is fine, but they also stay good.
