Best Pubs in Great Baddow

We went with a group of friends, we had tempera prawns that were enormous and perfectly cooked, lobster linguine which was amazing and two of us had the monk fish and prawn curry, again amazing. We will be back! Was too cold to sit outside so if you are just having a drink, there's a sofa beside the open fire or pop to the other side of the bar for the restaurant where there is another open fire. Very pleasant, food is excellent, and staff are friendly too :-)

We were greeted when we arrived by a lovely waitress. Seated straight away and made to feel welcome Menu was brought to us and choices were described Ordered our food and it was served in a very timely fashion, asked if sauces etc were wanted, all done with a smile. Food was hot and delicious. Very very good value for money. Exceptional customer service thank you

Visited the Black Bull pub yesterday for a Friends & Family Afternoon, with my parents and my other half! All very happy with the super lovely atmosphere! Food was incredible! Had the Roast Beef and was beautifully presented! All staff were very friendly and chatty. Look forward to seeing everyone and having some food and drinks again soon!
