I meant sorority sisters who were leaving at the time and enjoyed that, and I met for my coworkers who were joining me and thoroughly enjoyed that. We almost close the place down and I cannot overstate the expertise of the pianist playing the entire time. Our appetizer and meals were absolutely excellent and full of flavor. I also ordered a White Russian, and honestly, it may have been the best one I’ve ever had — perfectly smooth and delicious. What truly made the evening unforgettable, though, was our waitress, Shaelynn. I honestly don’t know how she managed to outshine the food, but she did! She was warm, personable, friendly, and attentive without ever being overbearing. She checked on us often, made sure our drinks stayed filled, and genuinely cared that we were enjoying ourselves. Since the restaurant was not overly busy that evening, we chatted with her a bit each time she stopped by. By the end of the meal, I told my husband I would love for her to meet our son because she is simply that kind of wonderful human being. Shaelynn is the type of person you wish were part of your family. Oh, and a shout-out to the Manager that night. I didn't get his name, but he was very nice.
