My party and I had a wonderful time ! The food was unique and delicious, the wait staff superb, the ambiance was lovely . We felt like we were in a Parisian restaurant ! Even my hard of hearing husband was able to have a conversation . We also loved that we didn’t feel rushed ! We can’t wait yo come back !

I hosted a Men's Night Out for friends whos wives had planned their own night out. BJ's Foster City did a fine job in accommodating us. The menu offers plenty of variations to satisfiy anyone. The wait staff was friendly and mostly attentive. My single nit pick is that the staff was very busy as the rrestaurant is popular. This resulted in our having to beg for the bill and beg for the completed charge transaction. Overall a fine evening and we'll be back.

Flea Street Cafe is really one of the finest restaurants in the Bay Area, Not only are all their dishes delicious, but it’s like artistry on the plate. I’ve never seen such a beautiful presentation of oysters on the plate. In a typical restaurant you get six oysters, snd two little cups is sauce, maybe some horseradish and a vinaigrette. At Flea Street, the oysters are presented on little polished rocks and each oyster is colorfully decorated with olive oil and colorful sauce. And they are delicious and super fresh highestp quality oysters. The cornbread was delicious with also artistic presentation butter that looked like flowers on the plate. The farmer’s salad was delicious along with the smoked trout and the zucchini risotto. And the entrees of short ribs and black cod (also called sable) were just the finest quality, super delicious, and satisfying. Portion sizes are perfect. As Anthony Bourdaine said in one of his books, the mark of a great restaurant is not how you feel while eating the meal, but how good you feel after the meal. And we felt great after this meal at Flea Street Cafe. Oh, and the two Pinot wines by the glass were also excellent.

We luckily found this little gem. Everyone that works there were amazing always came by to check on us. Wished my wife and I Happy Birthday like 20 times. We were here for food week and the menu was amazing. Everything we ordered was so delicious. Portion sizes per perfect, not to small, just the right size for us to both share and enjoy. Thank you for making a great Birthday.
