Best Southern American Restaurants in Chesapeake Beach

Kitchen+Kocktails in DC delivered another incredible experience, and this visit deserves a full five stars. The food was excellent across the board, but the true standout of the night was the yam, collard green, and mac & cheese egg rolls…creative, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor that felt both comforting and fun. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Deshawn and Mu went above and beyond, making our night extra special by reserving a dedicated section so we could fully enjoy the live go-go band. Their attention, professionalism, and warmth made us feel genuinely taken care of, and the rest of the staff matched that same high standard of hospitality. Between the amazing egg rolls, the jerk lamb chops, great food overall, and the thoughtful way the team curated our experience, the evening felt like more than just dinner, it felt like an event. Shout out to Kitchen+Kocktails for being a wonderful place with truly great staff. Five stars, without hesitation.

As always, fantastic chicken - the best. Service was a bit slow and have hazard, but we had a great time especially when they came out with a desert for my birthday. Good selection of Bourbon.

We chose the Taste of the South experience and WOW was it outstanding!! Plate by plate came out in a timely manner and the food was phenomenal! Our server was very cheerful and kind and made us feel special.Lovely ambience- a perfect place for date night!

Amazing food and exceptional waitstaff! This is my second time I and my colleagues have eaten at this restaurant while visiting the DC area and both times the food has been exceptional. This time we got the devil eggs (the bacon jam eggs are outstanding), the wings, the dirty chicken , the kimchi and collard greens (to die for), the Mac-n-cheese, the cornbread. Everything was phenomenal.
