Best Southern American Restaurants in Palos Hills

This was my first time trying this restaurant. It was pretty good. I hate I can’t remember the server name she was a light skin young girl very petite. She was so sweet and she was able to suggest a few items for us to try. We did get the margaritas flight and it was worth the money.

Definitely a place to try for breakfast or brunch for sure. They have lunch/dinner options as well but I haven't tried it yet. The grits and banana foster pancakes are crazy good.

The food was delicious: we had the duck confit gumbo and the shrimp and grits, which were so rich and comforting, as well as the Texas Twinkie and the steak tartare and both wert equally as good. Music was great, server and manager were kind and attentive, and was a great experience overall

The restaurant was beautiful, food was amazing & service was A1. My server Lori was super nice & made sure to check on me at any moment. Super nice staff !!

Had a quality time of dining at Virtue this week. The Sazarac was spirit forward, just how I like it and service was prompt and attentive. I ordered the gizzard for my appetizer, it's been since childhood since I've had this and it didn't disappoint - seasoned, crunchy flour coating with a tender bite on a bed of rice. Ordered the short rib and it was tender to the touch. cut it with a fork, no need to use a nice because it just easily came apart. Well seasoned, different flavor notes and comfort on a cold winter day. The mashed potato bed with spinach was a great accompaniment and added to this meal. Definitely getting the short ribs again.
