Best Southern American Restaurants in Texas Hill Country

This is our favorite spot whenever we have guests from out of town, and our latest visit was fantastic. Parker took exceptional care of us, and the food was incredible. The meatloaf and fried green tomatoes have always been favorites of ours, but they were honestly even better than we remembered.

As always, excellent food, service and atmosphere.

Jacoby’s was an absolute standout dining experience! The ambiance was incredible, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that made the evening feel special from the moment we arrived. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, and it did not disappoint. The chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired wonderfully with the creamy mashed potatoes. My friend ordered the NY Strip, and after trying a bite, I can confidently say it was absolutely delicious. The steak was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and one of the highlights of the meal. Between the outstanding food, excellent atmosphere, and overall experience, Jacoby’s exceeded expectations.
