Best Steakhouses in Lauderdale by the Sea

Always a great meal at The Capitol Grille. Our waiter Josh in the bar area was excellent. Food was delicious and tasted very fresh. We love this location at the Galleria in Ft. Lauderdale.

Dinner was perfect. Our server Diego was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave my guest and I great recommendations. We will be returning for sure.

I wanted to share my dining experience at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar on Las Olas. This was certainly not my first visit — in fact, I’ve dined there at least half a dozen times — and I’ve always had enjoyable experiences. However, this past Friday night truly stood out. We had dinner reservations for 8:30 p.m. and placed our orders with our waiter shortly after being seated. The calamari appetizer arrived first and was absolutely delicious. When our entrees arrived, my meal was piping hot and perfectly prepared. Unfortunately, my friend’s dinner was completely cold, even though the plate itself was hot. Shortly after, the manager, Alvaro, approached our table, introduced himself, and sincerely apologized for the issue with my friend’s meal. He immediately offered to have the kitchen remake the dish or allow her to choose something different from the menu. She decided to order the same entrée that I had ordered. Alvaro explained that it would take approximately 25 minutes to prepare, and in the meantime, he graciously offered her an appetizer while she waited. She chose the lobster bisque. Not only did he ensure the soup was brought out promptly, but he also returned to our table personally to make sure she was enjoying it. Throughout the evening, Alvaro was attentive, kind, professional, and genuinely apologetic. His level of care and urgency in resolving the situation transformed what could have been a disappointing experience into a truly five-star dining experience. We have always enjoyed dining at Fleming’s, but this level of customer service exceeded our expectations. Alvaro demonstrated exactly how managers should treat their guests — he immediately sprang into action to rectify the situation and made us feel valued every step of the way. They were so attentive and everything came out hot and delicious! It was an amazing birthday dinner!!!

We had dinner at Del Frisco’s Grille on Las Olas and honestly George made the entire night. He was so welcoming from the second we sat down, super attentive without being too much, and had such an easygoing personality that made dinner feel really enjoyable. My parents absolutely loved him — he kept us laughing and made the whole experience feel warm and personal instead of just another night out. Great service like that really stands out, and he definitely made our evening memorable. The food at Del Frisco’s Grille was amazing across the board and every dish we ordered was a hit. The steak was perfectly cooked, the ribs were incredibly tender, and the cheesesteak eggrolls were packed with flavor. George’s recommendations were completely on point and honestly made the experience even better because everything he suggested ended up being delicious. We also had the truffle mac & cheese which was rich and flavorful, and the Nutella bread pudding with vanilla ice cream was the perfect way to end the night.
