Best Steakhouses in Ucluelet

Had a sudden steak craving over the weekend and finally decided to give Gotham a try. It did not disappoint. The bone-in ribeye (medium) was excellent: rich, buttery, and full of flavour. But the real MVP of the night was the Portobello mushroom fries. The batter is packed with spices and incredibly crispy, yet the mushrooms stay so juicy inside. I'd come back for these alone. The cheese toast was also a standout: fresh out of the oven, perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of cheese so it never felt heavy. Both soups were great. The Manhattan clam chowder was tangy and appetizing, and the soup of the day (a Thai curry) had a gentle kick that warmed me right up on a cold night. For drinks, the Oaxacan Old Fashioned with orange peel was fantastic, a must for whisky lovers. The Strawberry Blonde is sweet and easy to drink if you prefer something lighter. Desserts were a lovely finish. The cheesecake was rich and creamy without being too sweet, and the sticky toffee pudding, served warm with cold vanilla ice cream, was a perfect contrast, just slightly on the sweet side. Service was attentive and friendly. The only small downside was that it felt a bit chilly inside on such a cold day. Overall, a fantastic steakhouse experience and I'll definitely be back!

Great dinner at The Keg! The steaks were so good, perfectly cooked, and the sides were delicious too, loved the mashed potatoes. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. We also enjoyed the warm bread and the overall experience. It was a lovely evening, and we left feeling happy and satisfied.

Excellent service, delicious food and drinks in a casual, welcoming yet upscale atmosphere. They brought out a bowl of vanilla gelato with house made chocolate sauce with a candle for my daughter’s birthday. Amazing topper to a great birthday dinner !

First time here and the food tasted amazing. Our server was super nice and gave us some good recommendations for food and drinks. Will be back again!

I’ve been going to Fortes for about 30 years now. It never disappoints. I’m glad we weren’t rushed out after 2 hours. Thank you and appreciated. It was My sisters first time there and her 50th bday. Our waiter Spencer was GREAT!! Thanks again for another great time.
