    It was my first visit to Fumiko, hornchurch on my birthday and what to say, it was an experience of a lifetime. We were welcomed and given an unparalleled hospitality which is rare and unheard of in the UK. The ambience was top class. Decor was keeping the Japanese cherry blossom in mind. Beautiful shades of pink, and white and grey, very aesthetic. Coming to the food, it was my best Japanese food ever in UK. The chef Imran was kind enough to take us through the menu and help us order the best of his creations. The starters were mouth watering and also the sushi platter was beyond comparison. All the staff were very friendly and gave us a wonderful experience.It was a perfect Japanese fine dining experience where time flew slowly and we soaked into it completely.My friends were pleased and I can tell I spent one of the best bday lunch ever. Thank you Fumiko for everything. Will love to come back again and again and recommend UK people to definitely not miss this place.

    The food was good, especially the tempura veggies. Really loved the broccoli and the bell pepper ones. The sushi platter was ok. The tuna and salmon niguiris were amazing. However, I was expecting more variety of sushis.
