Their customer service was TOP TIER, and they were so attentive to us the entire time. Special shoutout to our server, Luis, for making sure we had everything we needed and making our experience unforgettable! Whenever you visit, ask for Luis! And if you get the chance to meet Angel, you’re in great hands! Highly recommend these two. We’ll definitely be back! 🥂❤️

A Wonderful Birthday Celebration! We visited Maíz y Agave to celebrate a birthday, and we had such a wonderful time! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a great atmosphere and an excellent location. The food was delicious, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of surprising the birthday guest with a lovely gift. Such a sweet and memorable touch! We went on a Tuesday, so the restaurant wasn’t very crowded, although the service was a little slower than expected. However, that didn’t take away from our overall experience. We truly enjoyed the food, the ambiance, and the celebration. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Our experience was great mainly due to the fact that we sat outside and it was quiet and very enjoyable. We visit Talavera often and my only complaint is that it’s very noisy inside but we love the food.

Food was amazing very authentic. Did the chicken flautas, chicken tacos, calamari and churros. They don’t offer happy hour on drinks so didn’t try any cocktails they start at $20. Went to different restaurant that offered happy hour. But overall the food is top notch

Consistently excellent and AUTHENTIC Mexican food at a price that is right in this beautifully decorated and very comfortable restaurant. Has plenty of parking, all staff are friendly and very attentive, and the food is outstanding. There are also different ambiances so you can pick your spot depending on whether you want terrace, indoor intimate, bar or indoor family style. The guacamole, duck flautas, tortilla soup and camarones zarandeados are my favorites. They also make proper margaritas using unique tequilas and real freshly squeezed juice and triple sec (not the pre-packaged juice or agave syrup, commonly found elsewhere). I give this place a 10/10. Also the space has good acoustics... always a plus!
