$$$$ • Traditional Spanish • Santiago de Compostela
After being in Spain for a week and eating a lot of croquetas, tortilla and other traditional fare, this restaurant offered a unique culinary experience with standout food, service and atmosphere. Our server guided us through the menu and made suggestions to balance your choices across courses. The black rice with monkfish was exceptional, and something I had never tried before. The chef also checked in to ensure we were satisfied with our experience, and you could tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. I’d highly recommend as a capstone experience, especially if you have walked the Camino (as we had) and are looking to indulge at the end of your trip in Santiago. Cost was reasonable, and I felt it was very good value. Buen Camino!
