    One of my top places to come to in San Carlos. The staff are absolutely wonderful. The food is really amazing. They give you the best bread and it’s unlimited (I don’t understand why Indian, Thai, or Chinese places charge for rice when this place gives you unlimited bread!!). This time we had the eggplant baked with lentils and served with yogurt. Delicious!! We also had the mushroom appetizer. If you love mushrooms and if you love cheese, you MUST get this! In the past, have tried the shrimp app - yummmmmmy! And have had the eggplant app with the yogurt, which is also wonderful.

    Outstanding food and the owner and waitstaff were incredibly friendly. It is a very casual place (tables with metal chairs). The night we ate out it was quiet and felt cozy and we were able to have a great conversation.

    Meyhouse has always been our go-to for Turkish fine dining. It is such a comfortable and welcoming restaurant with excellent staff and the most delicious Turkish food one can find in the Bay Area (maybe even nationally). We've been to Meyhouse about half a dozen times and every dining experience has been awesome. From the meze small dishes to the main course fare - it is all scrumptious. Don't miss a great meal at Meyhouse!
