Best Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurants in Kankakee

Each I come here I love it more. The fabulous unique options on the menu make it one of my favorite places to eat. The Mushroom tacos and Greek styled Hamburger were Perfect on a cool day. Our server Alex was kind and very attentive to us. Great job again.

I’ve been to Avanzare before, but my guests were here for the first time. Sunday evening and a table for 5 (3 adults and 2 children). Everyone enjoyed the experience. Our waiter was accommodating, answered questions about food preparations, suggested dessert. We ordered fish, lamb, and pasta meals that were perfection off of the ‘specials’ menu. The zucchini blossoms were new to all of us and wow, were they delicious. I know I’ll return another time, and I’m certain that my family will be returning as well.

There were some new menu items this time! I especially enjoyed the chicken skewers, but wasn't quite brave enough to try the butternut squash pizza - I was skeptical of the raisins! All in all, though, excellent as usual.

It’s always a pleasure coming to Sifr. The food and cocktails are excellent. It’s definitely pricey, but you expect that going in. Highly recommend!

We had a great night out! The staff was super helpful in getting a specific hockey game on for us. A great place!
