Shou Sumiyaki was a lovely place for dinner. We enjoyed choosing the wagyu and grilling it over charcoal at the table. The meat was tender and flavourful, and the whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. The staff were welcoming, helped us with the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. We’d happily visit again.
We really enjoyed our dinner. We ordered the Wagyu ramen, sukiyaki, chicken thigh skewers, and gyoza. Every dish was excellent, and it was hard to pick a favorite. Definitely worth a visit. Just note that it’s an open-air setting, so expect some noise and occasional cigarette smoke.
Lovely little Restaurant. Reminds me of of what Toyama was over a decade ago.
Food was fresh, lovely and presented beautifully too.
Good range of food, and everything we had was amazing.
And if you aren't sure, get a bento box and get a bit of everything, and it is presented to beautifully.
We will be back.
My friends and I eat here often. They have a good range of vegetarian options. The staff are very helpful. The food is fresh and well priced. The atmosphere can be a bit lively with families. But this adds to the restaurant s ambience. The tables are spread out well adding to your sense of privacy.
