I always enjoy eating at Cooper's Hawk and highly recommend it. I greatly appreciate that they have gluten free options. Service is always polite and professional. My only suggestions would be to offer a healthier, tastier alternative to the white-bread gluten free hamburger bun offering (how about a multi-grain gluten free bun for a bread option?). Also (and this is one of my pet peeves with American restaurants in general) - it would be great to have savory sauce alternatives that are not sweet - i.e. dressings and fish sauces, etc. For example, a tamari versus a sweet sauce for tuna, or a savory-non-sweet salad dressing. Regardless - I do enjoy Cooper's Hawk's good food and service - I will return!

Great experience from the moment I walked in the door. The service was great -- attentive, but not intrusive. The food was fabulous -- bread: yum, salad: delicious, risotto: amazing. I will definitely be back!

The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.
