Everything was excellent! The team was extremely hospitable, knowledgeable, and fantastic. We tried a bit of everything and it was all delicious and truly unique. One thing I look for in a culinary experience is the story that the menu is telling. The offerings tell a fresh story- huitlacoche in pasta?! It's common knowledge that the use of tomatoes in Italian cuisine comes from Mexico, forever binding these 2 far away locations, but telling that story with Huitlacoche in pasta is more than clever. Cocktails and wine programming are top notch also! Martini service is really cool, multiple Brazilian classic cocktails and wines from Spain,Italy, France. Great job by the team! I plan to frequent this spot, there's a lot more I need to try on the menu!

I had the most amazing experience yesterday. I felt as if I was a guest in someone’s home. Watching the way the employees interacted with one another, you could feel how much love was in the room and how much they all care about the food and the experience. 10/10. I went right after they opened so it was still pretty quiet. Great for a solo dinner. I’ve had Turkish food before but never have I had a meal that I felt like this. Truly a gem. Thank you so much ladies, I’ll be back soon.

Mount Vernon Square
About the restaurant
Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.
