This was really an outstanding 11 course meal with wine pairings it was probably in the top five meals of my life, Very unique preparation combination blends that made the restaurant experience unique And the servings incredible.
Unique and beautiful plating. My husband loved all the food for the tasting and I loved half. The service was great.
We went with the a la carte menu, this being our first visit to Eden Hill. The cocktails we started with were excellent, particularly the lemon/honey/gin/Sunshine concoction. We ordered the seafood charcuterie and the octopus was sublime. The other standout dish was the seafood lasagna, with crab and scallops--this was really incredible, with the right balance so you could really taste the seafood, and a delicious broth at the base in which to dip your freshly made brioche.
Wine pairings were nice. Food was nice
This was—almost—exactly the sort of food adventure we wanted. The staff was amazing. The ambiance was quaint. And for the most part, the Chef's "surprise" menu was enticing, introducing us to food we'd never have tried on our own. And the wine pairings were great, so kudos to the sommelier. In all these specifics, it was a success. Given that we selected an unknown tasting menu, I can't fault that the meal was like reading the first page of ten different books.
So I guess it comes down to our failure to adequately pay attention, because it's now clear that VERY EXPENSIVE is part of Eden Hill's brand. If you've got the means, then yes: we highly recommend this place for, as first noted, the adventure. You'll love it! But if you're a person of average middle-class means, we'd probably steer you clear. Or, at least offer you this fair warning.
As always, we had a wonderful experience at Eden Hill again. We were Heading to the opera and had a set time we needed to leave, our waiter made sure all the great food and drinks made it out on schedule.
Wonderful tasting menu! Even loved things I wouldn’t normally order like sweet breads and octopus!
Outstanding. As a vegetarian, I've never done a chef's tasting - many restaurants with chef's tastings don't accommodate this. The staff were super, super friendly and casual in the nicest way - personable, and the food was out of this world good. So happy!
Great atmosphere. They services was wonderful, they were friendly and personal. I was a little underwhelmed with the food and wine pairing.
I haven't personally eaten out at places this nice more than a couple of times. But it's the best food I've had up to date, and we left feeling satisfied, cheered, and inspired. Shout out to Chauncy, our super cute and amazing waitor.
incredible experience from an amazing team, we will definitely return.
This is a fantastic place for foodies. I have always loved every single dish. The food is inventive and also very simple at times. They do have regular items that are always on the menu like the candy pig head or the lick the bowl (foie gras cake batter) dessert. It is a very cozy restaurant where you can dress up or go casual while having a fantastic meal!
We ordered five dishes and each one was wonderful. Cocktails were also delicious. Did not care for the window seats where one of the two seats would always have their back to the restaurant (a little claustrophobic even facing a window). Timing of second drink arrival was spot on. Wish they had given us new plates between the third and fourth courses rather than between the fourth and fifth.
Eden Hill is our go-to when you want farm to table freshness, and we absolutely loved it last night. The ambience is always unpretentious and intimate, and the food is fresh, inspired and delicate. We had the chef's tasting menu, and every dish was balanced and creative. Truly great.
This cozy spot on the top of Queen Anne is a real neighborhood gem, from creative and inspiring food to the attentive service and atmosphere! I will return to sit in the window table and watch the world go by....
Our 2nd time at eden hill and we were very happy with our meal once again. Our only recommendation is to offer a few more vegetarian options as one of our dinners was limited on options. Great experience
One of the top tasting menus in Seattle. The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of foods, the presentation is a work of art, and the overall culinary experience is unforgettable.
Thank you Maximilian!
This is quite possibly my new favorite Seattle restaurant. I felt like I was in Paris at a small bistro. The dishes were highly creative, unusual, and delicious. The chef is a genius with mixing flavors and spices. This is really a Seattle gem comparable to the best restaurants I’ve eat at in Paris, New York, and San Francisco! I will return for more.
Food is good, but lost one point since it is heavy handed, and very rich
The menu was really a lot of fun and whimsical. It's nice to step out of the norm and Eden Hill does that nicely.
The flavors and presentation were quite unique and good. we ate off the small plate menu and really liked the Waldorf salad and cauliflower “chilaquiles,”and the deserts absolutely amazing.
The plating, and how the dishes were served was outstanding.
The bartender/our waitress seemed a bit removed and not happy. Overall the staff was not engaging , or very friendly. They were just accommodating...gave me the feeling they wish they weren't working there.
Too bad for the staff because otherwise it was pretty great place to have dinner.
The food is some of my favorite in Seattle and I like how non-pretentious it is.
We did the chefs tasting menu, and if you have the time, it’s worth it.
We had our wedding night dinner here and it was absolutely fantastic. When making the reservations I sent an email to the restaurant letting them know I have a severe dairy allergy and if they were able to accommodate that. They said it would be no issue. The night of the dinner, we did the chef's tasting menu and our server let us know that the dairy allergy would be no issue at all. Every course was absolutely perfect. My wife's and my dishes varied a little bit as hers would include dairy and mine did not, but each of us loved every bite. We truly felt taken care of and one of the few times I have eaten out and didn't worry the entire meal if I would get sick or have to go to the hospital. This will be one of the places we frequent regularly and would recommend it to anyone asking. They truly were amazing and really create some beautiful dishes.
Loved our dining experience at Eden Hill. Service was attentive enough but not suffocating, food was delicious and exciting, Chef Maximillian Petty was hands on and very friendly. One of Seattle’s best!
My friend and I decided to go with the chefs coursing on a Friday night. The website mentioned that the restaurant accepted dietary restrictions so I called ahead to let them know that I was plant-based aka vegan. Unfortunately, I was served non-vegan items before realizing it and had to reiterate to the server that I requested vegan options. The coursing of the food was inconsistent, the timing of the final courses was so spread out we had thought our dinner had ended twice before it had. They were very busy seeing as it was a friday night but I felt mistreated, the server did comp two items which was a gracious gesture. I recommend trying this out for yourself, but we won't be back.
Came back after two years and still impressed with the level of service and the outstanding food.
Super creative menu. As someone who’s not a fan of Waldorf salads in general, the Waldorf had a great spin put on it and was startlingly tasty (the same goes for every dish we had!)
It is so hard to find a creative great restaurant that can inspire us these days but we found it! Eden Hill is the restaurant that for the foodies. We ordered the tasting menu and every course was creative and refreshing. We highly recommend it!
Everything was delicious; particularly enjoyed the cauliflower chilaquiles. Wouldn't mind if there were a few more choices on the menu, but we found four great dishes (the ribs are terrific!). Definitely will return next time in Seattle.
We did the Chef's tasting menu. Every course was unique and delicious. We also did the wine pairing which I recommend. Interesting stories with each wine and they were delicious.
I have been waiting for special occasion to try the tasting menu. We. Are for a birthday get together that didn’t disappoint. The food and atmosphere were perfect. I can’t wait to come back. Pig face candy bar is calling
Incredible food. I'll be looking for a chance to go back to try the chef's menu.
We actually didn't do the tasting menu and really found the ala carte menu to be fantastic and filling!
Lovely dining experience...enjoyed the Chef's tasting menu and wine pairing! The staff is great! Wonderful spot for a fun date night out.
Wonderful tasting menu and pairing. It is expensive, though.
Spectacular tasting menu.
An incredible dining experience. Great depth & layers of flavors.
Excellent menu and wine pairing! Will come back for sure....
Outstanding in every way. Amazing and artistic food. Not pretentious, just superlative. Best restaurant in Seattle?
