The staff was accommodating when we had a late arrival for a couple of our guests. We were offered appetizers and our questions were quickly answered. Love this attention. Food was elegantly served, politely served and staff was attentive without hovering.
Lobster bisque was outstanding, the lamb chop was fantastic, the disappointment was the scallops on the king crab and scallop entrée. Awesome dinner regardless.
We started out with the crispy bbq oysters. Amazing doesn’t do them justice, they’re definitely in the top 3 of my favorite all time appetizers. For dinner I had the snapper and my husband had the duck. Both were delicious. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Dallas.
Excellent service! The prices are just a bit high due to the location in the Ritz Carlton. But, the food is so delicious and worth the experience.
Fearing's in Dallas is one of the few restaurants in which every time I have been there, the experience seems to get better and better. The service is outstanding! There is nothing I could suggest for improvement. The food is out of this world (I suggest the Wagyu Beef Filet!).
Our waiters and sommelier added as much to the evening as the incredible food!
We had a birthday dinner at Fearing’s tonight, and it was so wonderful. All of the staffs were very kind, generous and nice! On top of that, all of the food was amazing! I definately think that you will have the greatest experience at this restaurant. Food and people are all nice and perfect! Thank you Fearing’s!! :)
Great place and atmosphere
This was my first five star dining experience. I loved it! The food was amazing; I had the pheasant, it was delicious. The whipped sweet potatoes with it or my favorite. The ambience at this place was very romantic. The staff was very pleasant and professional. They sent us home with French macaroons which was truly a huge added bonus for me. I would gladly come back and dine again!
Appetizers, Cocktails, Wine, and Entree all hit the mark as usual. Can't wait until the next time.
Same as last three times. Great service. Sleepy dining room. Uninspired food. Ate half my Osso Bucco (the moist half). Wife’s veggie entree was a mediocre medley of cauliflower and peas and curry rice. Bottle of champagne for the birthday girl, two martinis; dinner for four:$500.
We were early for lunch, with a reservation. We were immediately seated, anyway. Wait staff attentive, but not hovering. We never had to ask for refills on beverages. I had the Rattlesnake Burger. Seasoned fries with Rosemary and Thyme were great. Burger was so juicy and tall. Very tasty, with caramelized onions on top. My friend had “Not Your Mama’s Lunchbox” with mellow brisket sandwich, handcut potato chips, etc. Great lunch, decent price
Great service and great vibe.
Service is always impeccable, from the arrival at the valet stand to the wait staff.
Everyone was extremely attentive. What I love most about dining here is that Chef Fearing always mingles with his guests. Makes one feel right at home.
If you're in Uptown and looking for a spot for a business lunch, Fearing's is the place to go.
Great service. Wine was excellent, Amarone.
And the food was outstanding. Everyone in our party
enjoyed their meal.
The food was excellent and the service is top notch. We will return with more family the next time.
Excellent service, we sat in the formal dining room
Outstanding dinner on a special occasion. Food and service was outstanding!
We had a party of two, and ordered from the vegetarian menu - the tortilla soup, street tacos, buttered linguine, and the Mexican sampler platter. All the dishes were excellent, with wonderful multi-layered combinations of flavors; my favorite was probably the street tacos appetizer. The servers were knowledgeable about the dishes, and the service was generally very good, except that it was a bit slow at the start - we spent some time waiting to order. Fearing came over to say hello to us later in the meal, which was a nice touch. For dessert we shared the special, which was an egg with a white chocolate shell (sprinkled with gold) and a Bananas Foster "yolk", sitting in a nest of dulce de leche strands - it was both spectacular and delicious. The servers also brought cheese bread and jalapeno bacon bread at the start of the meal, and a palate cleanser (small caramel tarts) between the main meal and the dessert. They were also happy to make me a custom non-alcoholic cocktail with mixed berries, which was very tasty. Overall an excellent experience.
Over priced but fantastic service!
Beautiful & delicious food. Loved that it wasn’t too loud for table conversation!!!!! Our waiter was very attentive to us.
Great ambience, attentive service, alright food. The food is not so expensive, but they are just alright. Fearing’s is a nice restaurant and worth checking out. I just don’t want to get your hopes high. (Also, dress nicely!)
First time I ate here 4 years ago. 5 star for everything. This time ordered tasting menu with wine pairing. Person bringing dishes simply states, "These are tacos." No Sommelier. Expect a little more for a $400 meal. Food was excellent but went here for the experience which was lacking this time.
Best place in Dallas, one of the best in the US.
Fantastic! We even had a visit from the owner/chef. The food was incredible.
Great table. Marvelous service. Fois Gras appetizer was generous portion and the best I have had in some time. Scallops were perfectly prepared and paired with pasta.
While the food was good, i have had as good if not better and for better value. The service was ok but I expect more. I also went there for breakfast as I stayed at the Ritz. Breakfast was not good. Omelets seemed like airplane food. My ham and cheese omelet had no ham and little cheese. Actually, my service at breakfast was better than my service at dinner.
My wife and I totally enjoyed our anniversary dinner at this exceptional restaurant. The food, presentation and service were outstanding. I extend my sincere compliments to Martin, Keane (spelling?), and Fearing's chef. We enjoyed our dinner experience so much, that we returned the following morning for breakfast. Breakfast proved to be exceptional, as well. On our next visit to Dallas, Fearing's will a must.
Just enjoyed the best brunch/lunch I have ever had in Dallas! Great array of mine choices! Beautiful presentation! Great food and service!
Excellent food and dinner choices! Ambiance is perfect!
This was the best meal we have had in months!! Not to mention the incredible service and attention to detail!! Will definitely be going back as often as possible!! Loved everything about it and a taste bud experience for sure!!
Fearing's remains one of the best places to dine in Dallas, Texas. Wonderful menu, from a perfectly cooked steak or fish to seeing Dean Fearing's cooking at his finest. Superb appetizers/starters (sushi was super). Among the two or three best restaurants in Dallas and they nail it time after time. The service is exemplary - and the staff go out of their way to all but ensure a lovely evening and wonderful service. The wine menu is outstanding and award winning. Whether on a date, celebrating a birthday or anniversary, or a business dinner, Fearing's is the worth the trip. You will not be disappointed.
A wonderful experience. A creative mix of nouveau and traditional dishes. Service was tops, super attentive and class recommendations from plates to wine. A beautiful main room, a bustling bar all added to ambience. Would go back if in need of entertaining on business.
Awesome food, great quality, wonderful service, beautiful atmosphere
We love Fearing’s. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is always top notch. We had filet and snapper as main courses. They were delicious and the steak was perfectly cooked. We shared a southwest Caesar salad. This is probably the only thing we wouldn’t order again. It wasn’t all that unusual or flavorful. We also shared sashimi and ahi tuna appetizer. It was fabulous. The fish was fresh and beautifully served. We would order again.
The quail appetizer was wonderful and the to go brownie for each was a nice touch. I ordered the petit filet medium and it was overdone. It turned into dust in my mouth.
great wine, fried lobster paired with filet, outstanding. Enough food to split!
Excellent food, prompt and friendly service. Wonderful wine list with great input from the som. Will be back.
