Best Authentic Restaurants in Massillon

AMAZING!! We’ve dined here before and each time it’s been an excellent experience. The best service again, this time our server was Aiden. He was personable & attentive. Here’s what we ordered: for appetizers we had the octopus and the carpaccio.. the octopus was perfect, and the carpaccio had shaved truffle…the best carpaccio! The entrees: lobster raviolis, this is a dish we usually avoid at restaurants because they’re bland and tasteless, not these. These were large stuffed with the most tender delicious filling, it was so good we actually ordered one to take home. We also had the spaghetti fra diavalo with lobster.. fantastic and easily enough for two. One thing that is really nice is the dessert menu is not the typical ordinary things you see on everyone’s menu, this was unique. We had rhubarb bread pudding, moist & delicious. We had a Carmel ice cream popsicle with Carmel popcorn.. yes, it’s hard to picture it but we were crazy for it. Also, the vibe of this place is great. It’s intimate & even with music playing you can actually hold a conversation.

Great place. We had the giant meatball, table side fettuccine and the mushroom risotto, all were amazing. The homemade chocolate gelato and deconstructed cannoli are to die for. We will be going back, highly recommend

Very inventive cuisine. Great presentation & attention to detail. Had a deconstructed wedge salad that was so unique and unlike anything I'd had before - in a good way...absolutely delicious and candy for the eyes! Also, perhaps the best preparation of Lake Erie walleye that we've experienced anywhere. This is my 4th time visiting Astoria Grill and we are 4 for 4....home run!!!!
