Best Authentic Restaurants in Gate Helmsley

Lovely little bistro with a first-class service team. Both of our dishes — the Mediterranean Sea bass special and the pasta pomodoro — were superb. And the aubergine dip as a starter was simply smashing. (We asked in vain for its recipe.)

Outstanding! Some of these Brazilian restaurants focus on quantity rather than quality- but everything was delicious! Plus the meat carvers came by very frequently - never had to flag them down, always with outstanding quality meat.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent, and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered. The restaurant had a great ambiance, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning.

The steak and ale pie was the best we've ever had.

We booked our table in advance and got a window seat watching the word go by along Low Petergate. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Now to the main attraction, the food: I had a spicy beef brisket curry with rice which was full of flavours to get the taste buds going, also baby squid for starters. We also had chicken and prawn stir fry which was a little bland. The kids had chicken egg fried rice and meatballs, which they really liked. I can highly recommend Pho as a family restaurant.
