The service and food were fantastic would definitely visit again

Lunch - a great meal (roast turbot) overlooking a sunny Porthminster Beach. Staff were helpfull and friendly, food was superb!

Really tasty Sunday lunch with great views. The soup came with gorgeous soft warm bread, the roast beef had all the trimmings including a huge Yorkshire pudding, very tasty horseradish remoulade and a bowl of cauliflower bake which included broccoli too. For pudding hubby had the croissant style bread & butter pudding & I went for the butterscotch steam pudding. The bill arrived with complimentary fudge pieces which was a lovely touch. Couldn’t fault anything. The staff were all very friendly and its nice to dine somewhere local with a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be booking again. Worth a visit for morning coffee as they sell homemade cakes on the counter too.

I have being to many restaurants in my life from high end to a typical pub but the food at Lost in Rio was by far the nicest food I have ever had in my life. The meats were moist tasty and cooked perfectly the flavours were unbelievable the fries were great and the garlic mushrooms were to die for also the 2 cocktails me and my partner had each were fantastic overall the bill was around £90 for the both of us with drinks and we could not finish the food the portion sizes were great if I have one negative it would be the mac and cheese side order a bit more cheese please but overall I was massively impressed we will be back without a doubt.

Lovely dining experience in Dotties Exeter. Menu had lots of choice. The steak was just perfect and very well presented. Lovely atmosphere and nice quirky decor.
