We had a wonderful Tuesday night dinner at Prohibition with a group of friends. The atmosphere is lively and energetic without feeling rushed, and the service was warm, attentive, and perfectly paced. The cocktail program is strong, and we appreciated that there were thoughtful non-alcoholic options and proper tea service as well. Highlights included the yellowfin tuna crudo, which was bright and fresh, and the hand-cut beef tartare, whose tableside smoke presentation actually added meaningful flavor. The PEI mussels came with an outstanding saffron-lager broth that had everyone reaching for more bread and potatoes. The biggest hit of the evening, however, was the filet mignon. Perfectly cooked, generously sized, and one of the best values we've found downtown. Desserts were enjoyable, particularly the chocolate budino. What impressed us most was that we left feeling we had received genuine value for our dining dollars. In a city where prices continue to climb, Prohibition delivers good food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere at a price point that feels fair. We'll definitely be back, especially to try brunch.

Morgan was the absolute best!!! My cousin and i are on a special girls week long trip starting in Montreal and ending with grace in Charleston. Our stay here has been great and we love this city!! We had an unfortunate experience today at another restaurant and Eleve and Morgan made up for it and we are so happy to have dined here!!! Fabulous!
