Great experience, great food and extremely good value. It was my wife’s birthday and the staff surprised her with a complimentary tiramisu. Highly recommended. The set menu was extremely good especially for the value for money.

Food was hearty. Very nice and relatively quiet environment to catch up with friends on a Friday afternoon.

We had a lovely little lunch and drinks yesterday. The drinks were great and the team surprised us with champagne and a little tart for my husbands bday. It was just a really relaxed and fun time. Thank you :)

Ampersand Cafe, a three-story sanctuary where our passion for artisanal food meets a sprawling library of over 30,000 books. Voted the 6th most beautiful book-café in the world! We invite you to settle in and peruse our shelves while you dine, offering a unique space where you can get lost in a story over a perfect cup of coffee. Our kitchen prides itself on a carefully prepared menu of all-day breakfast, brunch, and salads, with nearly everything made from scratch. If you find a book you simply can’t put down, our entire collection is available for purchase at the front counter, and we also buy quality secondhand titles to keep our library ever-evolving. Whether you are indulging in a homemade caramel slice, enjoying a selection from our fully licensed bar, or browsing our online store for gift certificates, we look forward to sharing our love of literature and handcrafted fare with you.

Extensive drink selection whether you're a classic coffee lover or into trendy new mixes, Haven has you covered. Bustling energy and vibes from the staff and customers, volume still great to talk and catch up and savour the food and drinks. I had their version of an eggs benny and it was delicious, love that it had a twist, served on a hash brown rather than a bread option. Highly recommend a visit to the tucked away haven.

I changed my 10.30 am booking to 7.30 am so it was quieter (due to a work start time change). Food was good, very filling as I had the Pancake with strawberries and cream.
