Best Casual Restaurants in Hammond Park, Atlanta

This was hands-down, one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The steak was cooked perfectly. They don’t ask you how you want it because they cook it the way it’s supposed to be cooked. Everything was beautiful cooked to perfection. The pasta was out. The asparagus delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy. Surprisingly something as simple as a Caesar salad was out of this world. We also got the cheesy bread which was delicious. My girlfriend and I ordered a couple of milk drinks and the bartender really did her thing. We finished off sharing a slice of tiramisu and it was the best tiramisu I’ve ever had it set the bar high and now I will always compare the next one. I have that one. I will be back specifically for an espresso and a slice of that tiramisu.! I can’t see enough good things about this place. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic Keep our space clean and box our food to go over onto the next course. This is a very quaint place. Great for romantic meals. The ambience is very cozy.

My wife and I were celebrating our 31st Anniversary with an early diner and got there at 3pm for the happy hour specails. Our host and server were both friendly and helpful and made our visit memerable and glad to have chosen chose The Big Ketch. They even made a quickly crafted heart wishing us a happy anniversary and had it with our desert when they brought it out. They went above and beyond to make our visit and our dat specail. We will definately be back soon! Thanks to the staff and team that make this a specail place to dine.

Came in on Cinco de Mayo…it was packed but they were flowing and the service was smooth managing the crowd perfectly. Food was excellent as well! My 1st time there and looking forward to going again!

Staff was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than our reservation time. Food and service are always good at every McCray's. Really like the Midtown location vibe. A little noisy but it was Friday night after all.

I came to celebrate my friend’s birthday due to me missing her actual celebration and I reserved through Open Table and let them know we were celebrating a birthday. Check-in was a breeze and we were seated immediately. Natalie was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive and suggested some delicious bites we hadn’t tried before. The staff came out with a delicious tres leches singing happy birthday, which surprised my friend and I, but it was a nice touch! Thanks to the staff and cooks and bartender for an amazing experience!
