- NNaomiNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 25, 2026Fabulous night at Rising Sun Workshop, live jazz band, great ambiance and delicious food. We shared the sashimi, squid salad, chicken yakitori and a light ramen. Squid was so tender, everything was prepared with care and so much flavour. Staff super friendly, on a busy night.More infoRising Sun Workshop$$$$• Asian• Newtown•4.6
- SSharonSydney •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 20, 2026Booked a group of 20. Advised to pre-order which caused some problems but it proved to be an advantage. 10% group surcharge and “suggested” per person order limit was a little offputting but in the end the food was great, service very good and group had an pleasant experience,More infoGarden$$$$• Modern Australian• Alexandria•4.5

We had a booth with heaps of room. Staff were very helpful and knowledgable. Our food (Ramen) was excellent. Some Sake was a top accompaniment too. Definitely recommend here for JapaneseMore infoShinmachi Newtown$$$$• Japanese• Newtown•4.5
