- SSerenaGoldToronto / Ontario •25 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe’d like to extend our sincerest thank you to Marvin and his team for having us for an amazing dining experience. Our server Nick was both professional and friendly and we thank him kindly for such care in his craft. Everything at Liliana exudes attention to detail starting with a prompt and welcoming front of house. The selection of wines, cocktails and mocktails are creative and our barman was well acquainted. With a selection of new items on the menu we opted for a fish forward dining experience this time and it is apparent that the textures and flavours in each dish are carefully created with attention. The blue fin tuna crudo is an absolute starter. We enjoyed the coconut lime trout alongside the shrimp and clams. Both had sauces we wanted to bottle up and bring home. A must have day one item is the stuffed chicken wings. Opt in for the extra wing (4) because you will definitely be fueding over who gets the third. We did not have pasta tonight but they are a must mention. There are at least five to choose from but don’t tell your nonna because they are THAT good!! And finally, leave room for a little sweet treat at the end as the selection of desserts are just enough and the perfect palate pleaser. The mille feuille is a day one item, light and exquisite but tonight we enjoyed Marvins take on a reimagined classic, tiramisu; and it was impressive. Impressed but not surprised how Marvin and his team are able to recreate a very personal and special dining experience for each of their guests time and time again. Dining experiences of the like really make our booming Toronto restaurant scene S tier and quite unique. We will definitely be back to explore more of what Liliana has to offer. Wishing chef and owner Marvin Palomo continued success, good fortune and hopefully a day off in the near future. Grazie milleMore infoLiliana$$$$• Italian• Queen West•4.8
