Beautiful decor inside (downstairs) and comfortable, cozy patio with fantastic views of Angel Island and SF. Food was beautifully presented and tasty. A bit pricey for lunch but of course, that atmosphere and view come at a cost. Very lovely experience for a local Marinite's day-off treat. Probably benefited from an only moderately warm autumn weekday in very late October such that crowds and tourists were in short supply.

Everything is great, the fried rice was a little sweet. Coconut sago was beautiful, but didn't think a citrus sorbet was necessary as it detracted from the sweetness of the dessert. The experience was wonderful.

This is one of my best dining experiences. Everything is so perfect, from creativity in the kitchen to the excellent services. I certainly will be back and strongly recommend this place for anyone who likes creative cuisine.

Such a great and memorable experience! Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and they really took care of us. They even gave us some free drinks for my friend's birthday. We enjoyed the omakase so much that we want to do it again next time. Definitely recommending it to all my friends. its a must!

Fantastic authentic Mexican cuisine with the variety of Moles available being the crown jewel. Many traditional plate options and the handmade in house tortillas could be their own meal! Friendly and fun staff. Parking is a bit tricky but worth the effort!!

    Insalata's never disappoints and my husband thinks they have the best burger in Marin County. Their Fattoush salad has gotten a little pricey at $25 but is still so delicious. It's huge and could easily be split. Service is prompt and courteous and they have a menu that's hard to choose from as there are so many mouth-watering choices. We love to visit Insalata's and plan to return there often.
