Take the express elevator and be transported to a rooftop garden oasis.Upstairs overwhelms the senses at every turn. Take the express elevator from the street level and be transported to a breathtaking urban oasis thirty stories above Manhattan. Living green walls cascade down bronze panels framing the surrounding cityscape from every possible angle.A perfect view of the iconic Chrysler Building is the star of the show. The lighting design interprets a fresh spin on old Hollywood glamour incorporating vintage theatrical lights and strings of edison bulbs that float overhead emitting an intimate, sensual mood. Deliberately shying away from outdoor lounge-style furniture typical of most rooftop bars as of late, Upstairs’ furniture was carefully curated from renowned houses such as B&B Italia, Knoll and Moooi. Clean lines and elegant form at once seem hyper-modern and neo-gothic, inviting guests to relax and unwind in an environment that exemplifies subtle, urban sophistication.

I've eaten here several times over the last 5 years and never disappoints. The service, the food, ambiance, all 5 star. You haven't tried lasagne until you've had Toscano's! The sundried tomato oil dip with bread is the best. Can't wait until the next time!

Fasano is spectacular. If you are looking for an authentic trip to Northern Italy, go to Fasano. I had the vitello tonato to start, simply stated the best vitello tonato I have had in the states and may be the best I had anywhere including Milan. Finely sliced, beautiful presentation, perfectly chilled and the tonato sauce was sublime. Next course was the malfadine cinghale. Just as I remember it in Tuscany, a succulent ragu of wild boar with tremendous depth of flavor. Finally the osso buco was incredible, served with classic risotto Milanese this was the classic version that you long for. The service is impeccable, the ambiance is very classy and demure, understated but in an elegant way. A truly epicurean experience.
