The food was delicious, a good selection to choose from . The two for £23 , cottage pie and fish and chips were our choice and did not disappoint. We ordered from the bar, but table service is available . A nice relaxed ambiance made a perfect week date night .

Exceptional dining experience. We received a very warm welcome and excellent service from start to finish. The food was amazing. As a vegetarian it was refreshing to have a meal that had been thought about - it was so tasty. My husband enjoyed his beef dish too. No room for a dessert this time, but we shall return. The atmosphere was lovely- very relaxed, friendly and warm. Highly recommend.

Fantastic helpful waiter arranged our roast dinner to come quickly as we were on our way to a family gathering. He could not have been more helpful. Sunday dinner was very nicely done indeed, couldn’t fault it at all. On a bank holiday weekend though, and with the sports screens, it was a bit rowdy and we were seated right by the constantly opening doors. On a quieter day it would have been more relaxing. It is a nice pub.
