Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Valley Ford

We were visiting Napa for our 18th wedding anniversary trip and reserved dinner at Bottega based on early recommendations we read. Our experience was amazing. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated promptly at the stated time. We sat on the outside patio and had a wonderful attentive server. We ordered the calamari, wagyu meatballs, branzino, and the frutti di mare for the various courses. The food was excellent and accompanied by perfectly paired wine. We had the lava cake and gelato for dessert and a complimentary option the restaurant gave us for our anniversary. After dinner we learned that a couple sitting directly next to us were also celebrating their wedding anniversary. They were on year 19 and as our server told us wanted to surprise us by paying for our bill. We were so in awe of their generosity that we were speechless and my wife came to tears. This couple was so kind to cover our meal unprompted which really was a blessing and proves there are kind people in the world. The fact this happened at Bottega made our experience even more memorable. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Napa area. Thank you to Bottega and mostly to the wonderful couple celebrating 19 years and blessing our 18th wedding celebration.

I had a great experience at Fumé Bistro in Napa and will definitely be coming back. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming—casual but still elevated enough for a nice night out. The food was honestly the highlight. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully put together. You can tell they really focus on quality ingredients and consistency. The menu has a solid variety, so there’s something for everyone, and everything we ordered came out cooked perfectly. Service was just as impressive. I forgot our waiters name and we didn’t connect too much but his professionalism made up for it. He was attentive without being overbearing, and made great recommendations that we ended up loving (Rockefeller oysters). Food and drinks came out at a good pace, and we never felt like we were waiting too long for anything. Overall, Fumé Bistro delivers a really well-rounded dining experience—great food, great service, and a comfortable vibe. Definitely one of the better spots in Napa for a reliable, enjoyable meal.

Great brunch options! Especially the lemon ricotta pancakes. Very accommodating for a large group too!

Had the best burger! Waiter was great. Loved my rose wine. My husband had a chocolate dessert and it was so good. Nice to be able to walk to dinner. We were seated on the porch and it was quiet and perfect for Thursday night dinner
