Best Family Style Restaurants in Mound

Overall fantastic experience. Our waiter was the sweetest and when we didn’t love one of the starters, he took it off our bill (unprompted). Pork chop is huge! And delish! Tri tip was very good but I wasn’t used to the middle being more rare (that’s on me). Hush puppies was very good! Apple butter with the Texas toast was the best I’ve ever had. Salmon was as expected. Did not love the Mac and cheese, a little dry and the meat/cheese combo just didn’t hit. Cucumber salad was good. The lemon dessert was delish! The juneberry spritz was light and barely tasted like alcohol. Overall it was a great dinner when we brought my daughter to U of M for a tour.

Arrived during happy hour so enjoyed several less expensive appetizers and split an entree. Everything was delicious and our server was wonderful. The only less than perfect thing was the noise level as, even in a booth, it was difficult to have a conversation. We will definitely return!
