Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Elmwood Park, Chicago / Illinois

We did an early Mother’s Day dinner and had a wonderful experience. The service was appropriately relaxed and non intrusive while also attentive. We enjoyed leisurely cocktails and appetizers (the cheese board was amazing) while we decided on entrees. We each ordered something different - trout almondine, scallops, beef Wellington and mixed game grill. All were beautifully prepared and delicious, including the accompanying sides. We shared the apple tart and chocolate mousse for dessert as a perfect ending to our meal. While the restaurant was very busy, we were easily able to converse among the four of us. Overall excellent evening.

Absolutely amazing!! My only complaint isn’t for the physical restaurant but for a corporate policy. Having to sit at the bar for the bar bites is a bit odd. We had to sit at the bar to enjoy the delicious short rib tacos then move to a table for dinner. We know we could’ve enjoyed dinner at the bar but we wanted a more intimate dinner. The service was amazing and everyone was so accommodating!

Our experience at Truluck's was exemplary! All of the dishes we tried (stone crab, tuna, seabass) were fresh and flavorful. The drinks we had were well balanced and refreshing. The atmosphere was delightful-quiet enough to have an intimate conversation, even with live music from a talented singer! The service and experience was next level. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations while quickly answering our questions. We were celebrating a special event and everyone we met from the staff went out of their way to make the evening unforgettable! Trulucks is an excellent choice-incredible seafood and an incredible experience! I recommend them whole heartedly!

Outstanding menu and Service. Perfect restaurant for business lunch and celebration dinners. Miss Grumpy who was the best waiter ever.
