Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Oakmont

Great drinks! Wonderful food and first class service!

This was our first dining experience at Capital Grill. The experience was outstanding. Our waiter (Stephen) was extremely friendly. He made numerous food and drink recommendations that we took to heart- including my drink selection (“In-Fashion” vs an Old Fashioned) and his dinner recommendation of the 10 oz bone-in filet with Kona rub. It was spectacular. Dinner was topped off with crème brulee that was light and fluffy, unlike the many others I’ve had at other restaurants. Be sure to ask for the butterscotch/caramel sauce!! Stephen recommended this and it took our dessert to “over the top” status. Atmosphere is good. Our seats were in a booth kinda near the front entrance, which was fine. The bar looked nice, though we did not have a drink there. Overall, my wife and I really liked Capital Grill-Pittsburgh. Our waiter made it great.

Celebrated an early Mother’s Day with my mom and we had a wonderful time. We were even fortunate to get a seat by the window!

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I made a reservation for a business meeting and arrived early, so I spent some time at the bar, where the service was also excellent. The staff was attentive, professional, and made me feel like a priority from the moment I arrived. The hostess was courteous and seated us right on time. The restaurant itself was clean and had a very polished, professional atmosphere. I did request a quieter area, but due to the overall layout and ambiance, that wasn’t really possible. It ended up being a bit difficult to carry on a conversation during our meeting because of the noise level. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner or a night out. However, if you're planning a business meeting that requires easy conversation, it may not be the ideal setting.
