The food, service, beautiful city view setting were tremendous. One of the best meals I have ever had. So glad we dined with Mr A. I especially appreciated the numerous gluten free opens. A gem.

Always a pleasure to share a table with my husband -- especially on our anniversary -- at Juniper & Ivy! We look for innovative food, and the restaurant scored well on that front. The shared plates were generous and the variety of tastes delightful. We loved being at bar level overlooking the busy room of diners and the open kitchen at work. A bottle of prosecco, great conversation and a complimentary pumpkin cheesecake helped to mark our 42nd year with style. Thank you team J&I!

Food was delicious! Mostly sashimi we shared and it all had a real nice flair and flavor. Just visiting but I would recommend it, and next time we are in town I will be back!

Went there for a bday celebration. Food was great. Service was great. Definitely one of the best steakhouses in San Diego. Over all experience was amazing. Highly recommend!

Holy heck, my wife and I visited for the first time on a Sunday night for our anniversary. The restaurant was poppin' very lively with great music and packed and after the dinner we had; understand why. Book your reservation out at least a month as it's in extremely high demand. Service was exceptional, very nice waitress who had the menu down cold both front and back. Ambiance 10/10, fun music. 15/10 for food. All of it was packed with flavor and delicious. Pork tomahawk and wagyu new York strip were exceptional but what stole the show for us was the charred cabbage. We had never had anything like it and for being such a simple ingredient it was phenomenal. Like.. would've ordered a second plate it was so good, lights out. We couldn't quit talking about the damn cabbage of all things. Get the cabbage! Probably the most expensive dinner we've ever had (come from humble beginnings) but it was worth it and probably self inflicted. I didn't NEED to get the $160 new York strip, but you know, eff it we ball (occasionally) and I'm glad we did. 12/10 would recommend.

    My husband and I always have the most amazing food and service. We were there to celebrate my father who passed away six years ago.  Its always special coming here, one of our favorite spots to dine at.

    Fabulous experience, some of the best, most thoughtful service we’ve gotten. Our server Jake was outstanding, made great suggestions and had a knack for knowing just when to stop by. The dry-aged ribeye was phenomenal, the mushrooms were delicious, the cocktails were on point, and the seasonal macaron was a perfect last bite. The atmosphere is classic without being pretentious, and we appreciated the great music at a volume that allowed us to easily converse without hearing the people around us. We sat in the dining room but took in the gorgeous view from the second floor open air space after dinner. 10/10, would recommend, ask for Jake!
