Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Haight

O’ is among my favorite restaurants on planet Earth. Along with Protégé and Auberge de Soleil, which I hold O’ to be on the same level, the entire experience is incredible. Tonight I tried land-last time I tried A5 Wagyu from Hokkaido -this dish was again-outstanding. The 5-course meal was delicious, both in texture, density and surprise to taste. Has my highest recommendation!

Dining at The Progress was such a treat. The food was incredibly flavorful and beautifully executed—every dish felt balanced, and truly memorable. Each plate itself was a piece of art, with presentation that made you pause before the first bite. The sauces, in particular, stood out—they brought everything together and elevated each dish in such a thoughtful, delicious way. It’s my favorite restaurant in SF. We’ve been here at least a dozen times over the years. Spruce never disappoints. My grown son took me for an early Mother’s Day dinner last night. It was his first time! He really enjoyed it. The food is always delicious and the presentation exquisite. The service is unparalleled.
