After my daughter’s graduation from NE, we headed over to the North End to enjoy an amazing family dinner at Lucia. The restaurant is centrally located on Hanover Street right in the middle of what makes the North End so spectacular….People, activity, shops, dining, Colonial History, etc. We were immediately welcomed by the hostess upon entering the restaurant and seated at our table with a street view. It wasn’t terribly busy but there was enough of a crowd to tell that, although a smaller dining room, the noise level was manageable. The decor of the restaurant is muted with a comfortable feel. The staff was amazing. Our waitress was polite, professional, and very friendly. And our water glasses never went empty. The menu had a large selection of traditional Italian dishes, very well prepared and reasonably priced. The wine list had many affordable options as well as premium, fine wines. Overall a great experience. We’ll be back.
