- DDebraGoldSan Diego •140 reviews5.0Dined on May 19, 2026We have this restaurant on our “go to” list of places because they always have tasty food and are very accommodating and hospitable. I have three critiques though: 1- the chairs are supremely uncomfortable- please replace them with more comfortable ones- ( I hope you haven’t chosen them precisely because they ARE uncomfortable so as to limit your guests table time, and promote “ turnover of tables”- have you?) 2- the restaurant, both inside and out is not a consistent temperature, and the portable heaters don’t always work well in that you are either too cold or too hot- there is no middle ground, 3- the pizza crust always droops when lifted ( please watch Tony Shalhoub’s Breaking Bread special on CNN, the episode on NY, and the segment with Dan Richer of Razza in Jersey City, NJ, to understand what the best pizza looks like, how it is cooked, and what it is made of, in order to improve yours to that exceptional level. As it is now- it’s very good, and the flavors are on point- but that droopy crust is a downfall. Your waitstaff and hostess are great- very friendly- they recognize us as “regulars”, and that is appreciated. Your wine selections are enjoyable and the desserts are consistently good- especially the tiramisu… We will be back!More infoOfficine Buona Forchetta$$$$• Italian• Point Loma•4.2
- MMaritOrange County •3 reviews5.0Dined on May 19, 2026A gal pal and I ate at JRDN last night and had a lovely experience. We chose to eat outside so we could take in the beautiful ocean view. Our server Evan was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and friendly he made our dining experience really special. He even brought us blankets when it turned a little chilly. Our food was delicious, starting with sourdough and garlic butter, and our salads, a wedge for my friend and a Cesar for me. . I ordered the halibut on Evan’s recommendation and it was truly outstanding, with cauliflower purée and a truffle cream and fresh crab on top. My friend loved her short ribs and garlic mash also. Cocktails are creative and well executed and you can’t go wrong with any of the selections. All in all a lovely dining experience, highly recommend!More infoJRDN Restaurant$$$$• Californian• Pacific Beach•4.5
