Welcome to Roberts Scratch Kitchen. We are a fine dining continental cuisine BYOB scratch kitchen restaurant located in Totowa New Jersey. Serving lunch and dinner with daily specials, offering a full Gluten Free Menu. Our modern spacious dining room is finely detailed, cozy, and relaxing, with a trendy classy feel.At RSK our food is made from scratch. We do not use any ready-made prepared foods. Our kitchen has no freezer. Food is purchased fresh daily. Meals are homemade in the restaurant kitchen just a few feet from where you are dining. We also ask to bare with us as it is hard to find staff and we try to keep the prices as low as possible due to the high food costs these days and also trying to find the product in these strange times. We only use top of the line high quality provisions. On weekends we have a 90 minute table time for 2 tops and 2 hour table time for larger then that on the earlier seatings.

Chef/Owner James DeSisto has a seasonal a la carte menu featuring fresh seafood, pasta, steaks, and appetizers. In addition there is a chef’s special menu featuring local and seasonal food from all over NJ, PA, and NY please keep in mind this menu changes weekly. Chef DeSisto also has gluten free and vegan options for guests as well. Our outdoor patio is weather permitting, if we cannot accommodate outside due to weather we will move you inside depending on availability. Some must try’s are the giant meatball, house made pastas, steak au poivre or our delicious day boat scallops!! Do not skip dessert everything from start to finish will be memorable, so come in and enjoy culinary excellence with us!

    Longtime customers of their adjacent pizzeria, but we were very curious to try their new restaurant. Gorgeous job in remodeling the space. It’s really an airy and dreamy dining room. Service is very professional and they anticipate all our needs. The homemade pastas are delicious and the fish selection is amazing. The sea bass was our favorite and the Sauvignon Blanc by the glass was remarkably tasty. Thanks for a great experience and we will be regulars.

    Wonderful for the whole family. If you have a member who is gluten free- this place is a home run! The “older” people in the family love that they can hear themselves speak. Too many restaurants blast the music & people are shouting across the table. Our servers were efficient, friendly & witty. The calamari is always a hit with everyone!
