Amazing evening at Oretta Midtown yesterday. The welcoming we received at the front desk was warm and hospitable. The table was beautifully appointed, allowing plenty of room for purses, coats and umbrellas. Then came the best part - our server Jerome. So delightful, funny and engaging. Cocktails were spot on - perfect Negroni, refreshing Aperol Spritz. We ordered from the happy hour menu. Potato crocchette - light, well seasoned with a hint of spicy sauce on top. Polenta - this was my favorite. Perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Excellent. Carciofi (fried artichokes). Not over fried so still had texture. Well seasoned so I didn't need the accompanying sauce. Burrata pomodoro - perfectly plump grape tomatoes, fresh basil leaves topped with heavenly creamy burrata. Everything was delicious. In addition to the amazing service provided by Jerome and the 10/10 food, we had another staff member attending to our table regularly to ensure empty plates were collected and that the table remained uncluttered. Great night!

A great experience all around! Service was amazing as was the food. I had the seafood pasta and they were very accommodating to my request for an alternative sauce. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

We had the most beautiful experience here this past Saturday with my family. My parents hadn’t been back in over 40 years, and somehow… everything felt exactly the same .in the best way possible. The food tasted like it was made with real love and patience, the kind of homemade quality you just can’t fake. Absolutely delicious! Every single thing we ordered pizza was amazing. Lasagna has thin layers of pasta was absolutely extraordinary! Price you can't even be it's crazy for this day. The price we paid and the quality received. This is a gem ! The staff made it even more special the host was so personable, kind, and attentive, which truly elevated the whole experience. Everything was absolutely amazing. You can feel the heart in this place, and I truly hope it stays open for many, many years so more people can experience something this special.
