    This is an absolute gem! WOW- I went alone and online saw this was a good recommendation for a person alone ; convivial warm atmosphere. The head waiter Miki was fantastic - what a pleasure to have someone who knows their stuff- menu explained beautifully , wine recommended to pair with chosen dish of Guinea fowl - which was delicious - the little extras like the bread and chocolate at the end gave it that extra class. Sorry I didn’t meet the chefs but I have been raving about this place all day. On top of it met a lovely couple at the next table and we chatted all night !

    Loved my first time here! As a Celiac diner, Bird In Hand was recommended to me. They had so much on the menu that was GF and they have a dedicated fryer. Really nice food, spacious, great atmosphere, great service. Would definitely return!

    Excellent service, great pizza and pasta. Staff were happy to accommodate non cheese eater and adapt food for youngsters. Happy to recommend for all age groups.

    Lovely cream tea. Staff very friendly and attentive. Good selection of teas. Scones lovely, fresh and warm. Interesting sandwich selection including a coronation chicken wrap. The sweet options were also varied - the strawberry gel on shortbread - absolutely delicious.
