Food was amazing: clams, charred octopus ;squid salad and of course the cheesecake. What was even better was the service! Thank you Sarah and Chef for a memorable evening. Definitely recommend a seat at the bar!

If you would like to enjoy dinner at Alki Beach, Salty’s is the perfect place. They created a wonderful atmosphere to celebrate my daughter birthday, and everything was beautifully arranged. It was an amazing night for my family.

Had a 5:30 reservation for Friday night and was seated promptly. The Seattle Restaurant Week menu looked great and the waiter was helpful in choosing a starter cocktail and then the three courses and a wine pairing. Ordered the Half Chop Salad - romaine, blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, bacon, avocado chickpeas, all came together with a perfect dressing, Next had the roasted delicata squash and chanterelle dish (rich, complex flavors) and a delicious flat bread that is usually only on the happy hour menu. Everything was wonderful and such large portions I took half of everything home and enjoyed amazing leftovers the next day. Terrific value and great service. Only quibble is that the restaurant is quite dark and moody (bring your flashlight to read the menu) and gets very loud when it fills up - everyone is having a great time but it's noisy. Highly recommend, especially if you can enjoy it earlier in the evening.

Overall experience was very good. We did have to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated which was a bit of a bummer. Food and drinks were great. Service after we were finished was also a hair slow. Check was dropped and I could tell we were not the only table looking for a sever to pick up our card.

My husband and I experience at Half Shell was overall good. Our server was great. However, when we complained about our spinach being to salty and sent it back for a replacement. When the replacement was brought back out, the spinach was still too salty. When our server informed the manager of the issue, she did not try to compensate in any way and this I did not think was customer satisfaction at all. Other than this incident, the food was delicious.

Tyler, along with managers Sean and Lauren, sets the tone with genuine hospitality, thoughtful attention, and a knack for making every visit feel like an occasion. The entire bar team is fantastic—knowledgeable, personable, and always on their game. Fernando, in particular, is an absolute rockstar. And if you’re lucky enough to have Tre as your server, you’re in for a treat. His ability to anticipate what you need before you even think to ask is remarkable, and he has a way of making every guest feel like family. What really sets this place apart is that the hospitality is every bit as memorable as the food. It’s the kind of experience that reminds you what great restaurants are supposed to be about. Whether it’s date night, a business dinner, a special celebration, or showing out-of-town guests the very best of Seattle, I can’t think of a better place to go. From start to finish, it’s an exceptional nose-to-tail dining experience, delivered by people who genuinely seem to love what they do. My go-to, time and time again. And I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
