- JJaneGoldNew York State •24 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI have eaten at King Umberto many many times over many years. Last night’s dinner was the best one yet (which is odd because restaurants rarely get better over time!). I ordered a special (calamarata seafood bianco) which was seafood with pasta in a white wine/garlic sauce. Perfection literally! And, they changed the bread to rosemary and it was too good! I enjoyed a glass of Chianti Classico which was very good for house wine. Other items eaten at the table Osso Bucco, Chicken Milanese and Sirloin Steak Pizzonia. All were delicious! The only negative was that the portions were a little smaller than in the past. I personally would prefer quality for quantity and that is what we got! Can’t wait to go back and hope that special is on the menu again!More infoKing Umberto Restaurant$$$$• Italian• Elmont•4.7
