Lovely friendly staff, attentive but not over-intrusive. Some of the best Mediterranean region good I've had in the UK, with a wide range of options for most diets. We arrived around 6:30 and when we left a couple of hours later (tables are only available for 2 hours) there was a real buzz around the room. I was surprised, for a Monday evening, the place was full while other restaurants in the area were closed because of lack of customers on that night. Definitely worth another visit, or two, or three, or. . . .

We went to La Petit Petanque for a family celebration meal, we had a great time! The food was delicious, service was great, ambience is really lovely. Overall it was very good value. It was a very hot day but it was cool inside and we had a lovely view of the bowling green. I'd definitely come again, 5 stars!

A small establishment with freshly cooked fine foods. Not a big menu, but the choice you get, you know will be freshly sourced and cooked. The staff are very friendly and ensure you feel comfortable.
